Amee has worked in Entertainment Media for over 15 years, starting out as an editor/content creator at Sonicnet/VH1. She worked to acclimate AOL editors to writing for the web as the SEO lead for AOL Entertainment before making the jump to Product at Moviefone. After building marketing products for sales as Director of Integrated Marketing for Comedy Central, Amee returned to Product Management at iOne Digital where she was introduced to and fell in love with WordPress.
Most important to her is building a stable, dependable platform that frees up creators to create, keeps the lawyers feeling secure and is flexible enough to make sales think they are getting something new (when they aren’t, shhhh).
Amee lives in Brooklyn, NY with her musician husband, two sons and Daisy (the pup). In her spare time, she can be found belting out rock songs at local bars with her band.
